Answer:

 365.85 Minutes

Solution:

                  According to statement the rate of drops from faucet is,

                                           R  =  41 Drops / 1 Minute

And 1 Gallon can be filled by 15000 drops. Therefore, the time for filling 1 Gallon volume by 15000 drops is calculated as,

                                  41 Drops fall in  =  1 Minute

So,

                          15000 Drops will fall in  =   X Minutes

Solving for X,

                    X =  (15000 Drops × 1 Minute) ÷ 41 Drops

                     X =  365.85 Minutes

Answer:

366 mins

Step-by-step explanation:

first divide 15000 by 41 since there are 41 drops per minute and you get 365.85 so then you round it and get 366

Can someone please tell me the answers but also explain how to do it? Thank you

Answer:

8: 90 degrees, 9: 165 degrees, 6: 81 degrees, 7: angles in the same segment are equal

Step-by-step explanation:

For question 8:

Notice how the line AB just barely touches the edge of the circle. We call this kind of line a tangent. The point O is at the center of the circle so the line OB is a radius. The angle between a tangent and a radius is always 90 degrees, so ABO is 90 degrees.

For question 9:

By the exact same logic as 8, ACO is also 90 degrees. The sum of interior angles in a 4 sided shape (a quadrilateral) is always 360 degrees. This means that 15 + 90 + 90 + x = 360 = 195 + x so x = 360 - 195 = 165

For question 6/7:

We use the theorem that the angles in the same segment are equal. This means that a is 81 degrees.

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm not really 100% sure this is a weird question but I would assume D because if something is not proportional or doesn't conform to an equation, it has no slope

Can someone please help me identify the bases and the height of this trapezoid on problem 1? Thank you!
IRISSAK [1]
1. (The base on top is 15 ft.
To find the base on the bottom you have to first find the length of the right side of the triangle. 7 - 4 = 3. Then, square both sides of the triangle and add them together. 15^2 + 3^2 = 234
Next take 234 and find its square root = 15.3. The bases of the trapezoid are 15 and 15.3)
2. (Both bases and the height.)
3. (2l + 2w does not belong, all of the equations are formulas for area but that one is perimeter)

0.24% of iPhones were defective.

Using the information above:
In a sample of 60000 new iPhones, 144 would be found defective.
144 of 60000 is 0.24%

Answer: 144 defective iPhones would be expected in a sample of 60,000.

Hope this helps! Good luck. :-)
