Given the roles of NAD /NADHNAD /NADH in dehydrogenation reactions and NADPH/NADP NADPH/NADP in reductions, would you expect the

Answer:

The correct answer would be - high intercellular ratio the ratio of NAD/NADH and low intercellular ratio the ratio of [NADP+]/[NADPH]

Explanation:

The role of NAD/NADH in dehydrogenation reactions and NADPH/NADP in reductions explains that to promote or increase the oxidation of substrates the ration of NAD+/NADH should be high:

malate + NAD+ <===-> OAA +NADH + H+.

As NADPH and NADP+ generally help to increase the reduction of substrates, so we expect the ratio of [NADP+]/[NADPH] to low.

A circular molecule of DNA contains 1 million base pairs. If the DNA synthesis at a replication fork occurs at a rate of 100,000
lakkis [162]

Answer:

5 minutes

Explanation:

1. In bidirectional replication; there are two replication forks, and each proceeding at a rate of 100,000 (as given in the question) nucleotides per minute.

2. So, by the given rate of replication, we can calculate that, it would require 5 minutes for the circular DNA molecule to be replicated by bidirectional replication because each fork synthesize 500,000 nucleotides in 5 minutes ( 100,000 per minute) ( as given, in 5 minutes × 100,000 nucleotides per minute= 500,000 and by 2 forks= 1,000,000) within the time period.

Hoxc8 genes are responsible for the development of what
andrezito [222]
HOXC8 gene encodes a protein that has a role in the development of the cartilage. This gene is a member of the HOX group gene that enables the differentiation of the body segments. These genes encode for transcription factors that activate the expression of other specific genes guiding the differentiation of body segments into specific structures.
