We can consider the price to be x. first they do a discount of 30% so it you be x-30% meaning —30. then they raise it back up 30 so we need to add 30. -30 plus positive 30 is 0. so we are at the the starting price and they would be paying more than the discount would be because it’s what the price was originally.
