Eels are a long, thin slimy fish that have a fin that runs the entire lengths of the backs of their bodies, extends around the tail and run for a distance on the underside of the fish. They have a wide and strong mouth. The pike has a long, slender body that is olive green in color and fades to yellowish-white on its belly. The reason for this is because they have diffrent bodies and a eel is small while pikes are big and have more weight.
