Answer:

length = 22, width = 9

step by step explanation :

perimeter = 62

length = 3×width -5

∴ 2 ( length + width ) = perimeter

2 ( 3w-5 + w ) = 62

3w -5 + w = 62/2 = 31

3w -5 + w = 31

4w  = 31 + 5 = 36

4w = 36

 w =36/4

 w = 9

l= 3w-5 = (3×9)-5 = 27-5= 22

verifying -

2( l + b) = perimeter

2 ( 22 + 9 ) = 2 * 31 = 62
