erik [133]
Step 1. Apply this rule: a ÷ \frac{b}{c} =a* \frac{c}{b}

\frac{4}{5} * \frac{10}{3}

Step 2. Apply this rule: \frac{a}{b} * \frac{c}{d} = \frac{ac}{bd}

\frac{4*10}{5*3}

Step 3. Simplify 4 × 10 to 40

\frac{40}{5*3}

A store had the same amount of five fabrics. The chart shows the how much of each fabric is left. Use the data to answer each qu
slamgirl [31]

The chart showing how much f each fabric left is missing and so i have attached it.

The questions are;

A. The store sold the most of which fabric? Explain.

B. The store sold the least of which fabric? Explain.

C. The same amount of which fabrics is left? Explain.

<u><em>A) The store sold mostly black fabrics because it had the least left.</em></u>

<u><em>B) The store sold yellow fabrics the least because it had the most left.</em></u>

<u><em>C) Red and white fabric have the same amount left because they both have 0.51 yd left</em></u>

  • From the chart, we see the amount of each colour of fabric left as;

Red fabric = 0.510 yd

Blue fabric = 0.492 yd

Yellow fabric = 0.6 yd

White fabric = 0.51 yd

Black fabric = 0.48 yd

  • A) Since the store had the same amount of fabrics for each colour, it means the most fabric sold will be the one that has the lowest amount remaining from the chart.

The lowest remaining on the chart is Black Fabric with 0.48 yd.

Thus, the store sold mostly black fabrics.

B) Opposite of Question A, the least fabric sold will be the one that has the highest amount remaining from the chart.

The highest remaining on the chart is Yellow Fabric with 0.6 yd.

Thus, the store sold yellow fabrics the least.

C) From the chart, we can see that red and white fabric have the same amount left which is 0.51 yd.
