Answer:

The figure 25.4 cm is suggestive of metric equivalent of 10″ and coupled with the fact the thickness of the bowl is not considered implies some estimate will do. Just take diameter to be 1/4 m and get volume of (22/42) x8 = 4.25 liters correct to 5%.

Bag of bird seeds that only cost $22.25 is marked up to 25.30.what is the percent markup
natima [27]

To get the answer to this problem, first we have to subtract the marked up cost to the cost of the product. So we first minus 25.3 and 22.25. When we do this, we will get a difference of 3.05. This is the profit that you will earn. So after that, we have to divide 3.05 and 25.30 to get the mark up percentage. When we do this, we will get an answer of 0.12. So in order to convert that into a percentage, we just have to multiply it by 100 and we will get 12%.

Problem 1

With limits, you are looking to see what happens when x gets closer to some value. For example, as x gets closer to x = 2 (from the left and right side), then y is getting closer and closer to y = 1/2. Therefore the limiting value is 1/2

Another example: as x gets closer to x = 4 from the right hand side, the y value gets closer to y = 4. This y value is different if you approach x = 0 from the left side (y would approach y = 1/2)

Use examples like this and you'll get the results you see in "figure 1"

For any function values, you'll look for actual points on the graph. A point does not exist if there is an open circle. There is an open circle at x = 2 for instance, so that's why f(2) = UND. On the other hand, f(0) is defined and it is equal to 4 as the point (0,4) is on the function curve.

Problem 2

This is basically an extension of problem 1. The same idea applies. See "figure 2" (in the attached images) for the answers.

Answer:

fraction 1 and 3 over 5

Step-by-step explanation:

2:3 is equal to 8 blocks

5:12 is equal to 5 blocks

if you divide them, the result is:

8/5 which is the same as 1 3/5

because 5 is contained 1 time in 8 and the rest is 3
