Identify a grouping element that marks a thematic break such as a scene change or transition to a new topic.
hoa [83]

Answer:

hr

Explanation:

The hr element in HTML(hypertext markup language) represents a horizontal rule. Visually it appears like a horizontal line. This horizontal line has a semantic meaning that shows/represents a thematic break between elements such as between paragraph elements. It usually used to denote change in topic. It is however not available as a layout attribute in HTML5, CSS is used instead.

Why does electronegativity decrease down a family
Oxana [17]

Answer:

Electronegativity is the ability of an atom to attract electrons from another atom. The nucleus of an atom plays a huge role in this ability. Now when you move down a group or a family, the size of the atom increases and the energy level increases as well. This then means that the valence electrons are moving further and further away from nucleus as more energy levels are added. Since the nucleus is moving further, its ability to attract electrons is getting weaker as the distance increases thus, affecting its electronegativity.

Shannon is 15 years old. She has stopped going to church with her family. She does not agree with everything the church preaches
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

<h3>Hypocrisy.</h3>

Explanation:

Hypocrisy is a term used to identity a person whose beliefs and moral values contradict with his/her actions. To understand a hypocritical phenomenon, one needs to observe if one's words correspond with his/her actions.

When Shannon observed that her parents did not practice their religion on the other days of the week, she stopped going to the church. She questioned what was the purpose of going church only on Sundays if they were to live blatantly on the other days of the week.

She is able to see that hypocrisy in her parents' lives. This is because, though they go to church every Sundays, they don't follow any moral principles on the other days unlike what is being taught in the church.
