On September 22, 1862, the Emancipation Proclamation was given by Abraham Lincoln to finally mark a solution to end the civil war and make the Confederate States yield from their position of resisting the government.  The argument lies in the declared call to make the Confederate States join the Union is that the Emancipation Proclamation of freeing the slaves only applies to States that rebel against the US government. Thus, it was not applicable to States who are from the Union. It was a strategy to attract the Confederate States to Join the Union so they can keep slavery within their borders.

The last days have been hard. I have had a lot of problems with planting, with corn and grain.
