Blood does not enter or leave the ventricles during the period called

Biology

That would be D. Isovolumic contraction

As the name states during ISOvolumic contraction the volume of the ventricles doesn’t change and stays the same so no blood enters or leaves the ventricles. The thing that changes is the pressure of the ventricles that increases.

I can explain the process more if u want in the comments:)

In humans blood type is determined by the A B, and O alleles. The A and B alleles are codominant to each other and dominant over
liraira [26]

Answer:

d. A, B, AB, or O

Explanation:

The parent genotypes are AO and BO. Make a punnett square to see the genotypes of the offspring. I tried to make an example one below, but I suggest you draw one out for yourself.

          A                  O

B       AB                BO

O      AO                OO

The four genotypes would be AB, BO, AO, and OO. Because A and B are dominant over the O allele, <u>the phenotypes would just simply AB, B, A, and O.</u>

Fish do not maintain whole-body temperatures different from the temperature of the water in which they live. However, many fish,
scoray [572]

Answer:No. This does not qualify as homeostasis because homeostasis involves the control of a physiological variable within very narrow limits so that cells can function. The body temperature of a fish fluctuates with the temperature of the external environment.

Explanation:

Fishes are poikilothemic;therefore thier body temperature fluctuates with the external environment. If the fish stays in a preferred environment momentarily, this will influence its body physiological mechanism at that moment.

Once it leaves the spot its body physiological mechanisms returns to that of the new environmental temperature, therefore fluctuating with changes of the environment.

Since homeostasis refers to a relatively constant internal environmen of an organism, prefered temperature phenomenon cannot be homestatis.!!

C ultra violet <br> ultra violet rays are impossible to see by the humans naked eye

What can the muscular system be compared to in a car?
masya89 [10]

Answer:

Engine is very much similar to the muscular system in a car.

Explanation:

The system is made up of the tissues which work with skeltal system to control the movement  of the body is called Muscular System. In a car the engine is very much similar to the muscular system. They both help their systems to move. Without them the car or body would not going to operate.Like the human body car parts are also specialised & perform specific tasks, but they all depend on each other. Many would compare the engine of the car with heart of human body. The heart is the engine of the body just like the car. Our brain is very much similar to the the car's computer system or CPU.Every car  is powered by an engine and most cars use an internal combustion engine which runs on gasoline.A car's overall power is a function of the size of engine as well as the factors such as timing of combustion and the type of transmission used.
