$12=y+x$

$12-x=y$

The possible values of x are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and the respective possible y values are 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Therefore, the value of y in terms of x is $y=12-x$.
