Re-introducing wolves to Yellowstone national park has been controversial. Ecologist recognize wolves as a keystone species to t

he habitat and have recognized positive a trophic cascade throughout all trophic levels of the ecosystem. Local residents including farmers have fought to remove and hunt wolves for the fear of their livestock of being killed.
Idaho has recently passed a bill allowing unregulated hunting of 90% or more of the local wolf population.

Propose a solution that might make both ecologists and local residents happy.
