0.39 • 100 = 39.00
So the cost of 100 pens that are priced at 0.39 is 39 dollars.

If each pen is priced at $0.39 you will simply need to multiply.

$0.39 * 100 = $39.

The cost of 100 pens is $39 if each one cost $0.39 (39 cents).

Hope this helps! Have a great day/night! c:

OLEGan [10]
Is there any other answers? To me, none of those look correct. If you had -3 and substituted it into the equation you would get -1(-3)+3, which would turn into 3+3 which equals 6.

Out of 2400 students of a school only 40% passed. How many students failed
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
The first thing you must do is find 10% of 2400. To do this you divide by ten (to gets the 100% to 10%). This means that 10% is 240. You now must get from 10% to 40% which means multiply by 4, so that the final answer is 960. You could also multiply 2400 by 0.4.
