The process of relocating tribes to new areas began with the Indian Removal Act of 1830, during the Andrew Jackson administration. This act required all Native tribes to relocate west of the Mississippi River. These original attempts to deprive indigenous people of their native lands took the form of treaties.
During the colonization of North America, several European countries laid claims to territory. This includes France, Spain, and Great Britain. All three of these European countries wanted the natural resources that North America wanted to offer. This type of competition for resources, profit, and power resulted in fighting over territory between these countries. A perfect example of this would be the French and Indian War, as the British fought th French over disputed land in modern day Pittsburgh.

Nelson Mandela was a guy who tryed to give black people rights. Nelson Mandela also was part of the ANC political party and had a t part on the movement to end and cut the Aparth and would stand up for hat he belvided in but got put in prision.
