Answer:

Specialized tourism is an umbrella term for the kinds of tourism that are geared to special interests and that specialize in a certain topic or theme.

Explanation:

“Specialized tourism” refers to a kind of tourism that is carefully curated to the interests of an individual or small groups who want to coordinate their visits carefully and to see attractions or attend events that have a connection with their specific interests. It is an umbrella term for other kinds of tourism that are emerging that cater to more specific needs like special interest tourism, including gastro-tourism or even medical tourism. Volunteer tourism is another specialized tourism example where people go to participate in projects that help benefit the local people like irrigation projects or repairing a local school. This kind of tourism has emerged as more people are aiming to gain a rewarding experience from their travels and to do more and gain knowledge and worthwhile experiences while also in many cases giving back to the local communities.

Why were there parades in france after D.Day
Lyrx [107]

Answer:

June 6, 1944 - Allied Forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, France.  After a heroic effort and sacrifice by thousands of valiant men representing the “greatest generation,” The German held villages throughout Normandy were liberated. This marked the beginning of the defeat of Nazi tyranny throughout Europe.

D-Day Memorial Parade

Sainte-Mère-Église -

June 6- 5:00PM

Each year Sainte-Mère-Église, the first village to be liberated by American paratroopers, hosts this historic parade. Military units, marching bands, cultural and civic groups will march down the same streets that were lined with American troops in 1944. The town has since named their streets after Allied Generals including General Eisenhower. They have also preserved WWII era artifacts in the Airborne Museum in the center of town. The Mayor has expressed his best wishes and looks forward to greeting the parade participants as they visit his wonderful village. In addition to the parade, a concert series will be staged in the town square featuring outstanding performing groups.

This event has been recognized by numerous veterans associations, community organizations, military and government officials and will provide participants and spectators an opportunity to salute those men and women who have sacrificed for our nation.

The Ceremonies

Brittany American Cemetery

Normandy American Cemetery

Two official public ceremonies will take place at the American Cemeteries in the Normandy region, including the Brittany American Cemetery and the Normandy American Cemetery. Combined, these solemn and sacred cemeteries are the final resting place for nearly 15,000 brave Americans who paid the ultimate sacrifice as part of the D-Day and Normandy campaigns during the summer of 1944.

These important ceremonies not only provide a tribute to the fallen, but to all those participating in the ceremony it is a reminder of the price of freedom.  The sacrifice made by so many, and the motivation behind it, should be honored, cherished and never forgotten.

Our Mission

The D-Day Memorial Parade and Musical Salute to the Veterans will provide a meaningful tribute to our veterans and armed forces while featuring community organizations, talented performing groups, dignitaries, and military groups - all joining together to share the Spirit of America with the citizens and visitors of Normandy.

Why did Britain France and united states not stop fascist aggression in the 1930s
MaRussiya [10]
If you're referring to the militarization and aggression of Germany, there's a lot of debate as to why these nations didn't intervene earlier. The general consensus is that nobody believed Germany would take it as far as they did.
