The difference between medical services and health services is that medical services provide for medical needs; such as in the setting of student that has a disease, wherein he or she would need medical attention like diagnostics such as x-rays, blood studies, urine studies, etc. and therapeutics such as pain relievers, antibiotics, etc. On the other hand, health services are different such that health services promote overall health, even in the absence of disease. Health services usually focus on screening such as medical checkups (in the absence of disease), dental checkups, nutrition screening etc. Health services is more on the preventive side.
