Answer:

T₂ = 218.75 K

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial volume = 20 L

Initial pressure = 16 atm

Initial temperature = 500 K

Final temperature = ?

Final volume = 35 L

Final pressure = 4 atm

Formula:

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

P₁ = Initial pressure

V₁ = Initial volume

T₁ = Initial temperature

P₂ = Final pressure

V₂ = Final volume

T₂ = Final temperature

by putting values,

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

T₂ = P₂V₂ T₁/ P₁V₁

T₂ = 4 atm × 35 L × 500 K / 16 atm × 20 L

T₂ = 70000 atm .L. K / 320 atm.L

T₂ = 218.75 K

In which way are solar panels helping Indonesian society?
solmaris [256]

Answer:

Indonesia Bank one of the largest consumers of electricity or energy in any form depends on fossil fuels for energy.

Explanation:

Utilisation of solar energy for their day to day basis such that the energy need is met would mean less use of fossil fuels and lesser greenhouse gases.

And also damage to the environment and this is a very important step by Indonesia to do their bit towards environment by controlling pollution and being largest consumer turning green would mean a lot.

Suggest why CaO rather than MgO is used to dry ammonia.
V125BC [204]
Ca2+ is less electro-positive than Mg2+. Therefore, CaO is less ionic than MgO. and in turn means that the O in CaO is more like O2– will react with H in H2O more so than O2- of MgO, because it is more ionic means O is strongly bonded to Mg compare to Ca

Distillation is a method that depends on differences in the boiling points of liquids to separate the components of a liquid mix
ryzh [129]

Explanation:

for immiscible liquids it is quite easy to separate and the separating funnel can be used but for miscible liquid they form a single entity and separating them is quite impossible if the differences in temperature is not considered,so in distillation the one with lower boiling point evaporates out living behind the one with high boiling point

What do symmetrical crystal shapes indicate about a mineral?
krek1111 [17]

Answer;

It indicates that it is a metallic luster

Explanation;

-The physical properties of minerals comprise various measurable and discernible attributes, including color, streak, magnetic properties, hardness, crystal growth form, and crystal cleavage. Each of these properties are mineral-specific, and they are fundamentally related to a particular mineral’s chemical make-up and atomic structure.

-Mineral crystals form in many different shapes and sizes. A mineral is made up of atoms and molecules. As the atoms and molecules combine, they form a particular pattern.

Which of the following statements about the Diels-Alder reaction are TRUE?
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

A.It is a reaction involving pi-electrons.

D.It is *not* a reaction favored by entropy considerations.

Explanation:

The Diels-Alder reaction is a [4+2]- cycloadition that involoves pi-electrons (4 from the diene and 2 from the dienophile).

The reaction is favored by the formation of new sigma bond, since they are more stable than pi-bonds. This reaction is not favored by entropy because there are 2 reactants and one product and the order increases.

The reaction happens in one step.
