Standard form : Ax + By = C
y - 4 = 0
y = 4...this is a horizontal line and a horizontal line has a 0 slope
so in standard form, ur equation is : 0x + y = 4
I’m gonna say c, but I’m not for sure
y = 4x−10 ; slope m = 4
Parallel has same slope so slope of new line = 4
y = 4x + b
b = y - 4x
Passes through (1, 13)
b = 13 - 4(1)
b = 13 - 4
b = 9
Equation
y = 4x + 9
Dz/dx = 5x^4*y + y^5 + y
dz/dy = x^5 + 5x*y^4 + x
You must substitute x+3 for x, so x² becomes (x+3)².
You could work this out to be x²+6x+9 if that is asked.
The graph of (x+3)² is the graph of x² shifted to the left by 3.
If this seems counterintuitive, think of the value you must choose for x to make the outcome 0. It used to be 0²=0, but now it is -3 since (-3+3)²=0, so 3 positions to the left.
