Answer:

B. The U.S. sold Europe goods needed during the war and took over some markets completely

Explanation:

"The total value of U.S. exports grew from $2.4 billion in 1913 to $6.2 billion in 1917. Most of that went to major Allied powers like Great Britain, France, and Russia, which scrambled to secure American cotton, wheat, brass, rubber, automobiles, machinery, wheat, and thousand of other raw and finished goods." - Heather Michon

Why does allowing state politicians to take the lead in redistricting create a conflict of interests?
Stella [2.4K]

The reason this leads to a conflict of interest, is because allowing politicians the power of redistricting creates a gateway for partisan gerrymandering, which is the act of manipulating the boundaries of an electoral constituency in order to ensure that a party wins seats in specific district.

What does scout's observation that she "inched sluggishly along the treadmill of the maycomb county school system" suggest about
morpeh [17]
Scout is a very advanced student and for that instead of being rewarded and given additional attention and assignments that would further her development she is instead reprimanded for it. Her teacher Miss Caroline is limiting what students can know and come into contact with. She even wanted her to stop reading with her father so she could do that only at school. Scout feels extremely bored and feels like she is missing a lot she could be learning about the world. She is being cheated out of knowledge which is ironic as school should be one of the places that can give children a lot of information and knowledge.
