What is destructive interference in magnetic waves

Physics

This is known as destructive interference. In fact, if the two waves (with the same amplitude) are shifted by exactly half a wavelength when they merge together, then the crest of one wave will match up perfectly with the trough of the other wave, and they will cancel each other out.

Destructive interference occurs when the maxima of two waves are 180 degrees out of phase: a positive displacement of one wave is cancelled exactly by a negative displacement of the other wave. The amplitude of the resulting wave is zero. ... The dark regions occur whenever the waves destructively interfere.

. A stationary mass explodes into two parts of mass 4 kg and 40 kg . If the K.E of larger mass is 100 J . The K.E of small mass
alisha [4.7K]

Answer:

10J

Explanation:

KE = (1/2)mv²

100J = (.5)(40kg)v²

v²=(100J)/(20kg)

v²= 5

KE = 5(.5)(4kg)

KE = 10J

Dominik [7]

when approaching the front of an idling jet engine, the hazard area extends forward of the engine approximately 25 feet.

<h3>What impact, if any, would jet fuel and aviation gasoline have on a turbine engine?</h3>

Tetraethyl lead, which is present in gasoline, deposits itself on the turbine blades. Because jet fuel has a higher viscosity than aviation gasoline, it may retain impurities with greater ease.

Once the gasoline charge has been cleared, start the engine manually or with an electric starter while cutting the ignition and using the maximum throttle.

On the final approach, the aeroplane needs to be re-trimmed to account for the altered aerodynamic forces. A substantial nose-down tendency results from the airflow producing less lift on the wings and less downward force on the horizontal stabiliser due to the reduced power and slower velocity.

The conducting path between the right hand and the left hand can be modeled as a 9.0-cm-diameter, 140-cm-long cylinder. The aver
Crank

Answer:

The potential difference is 121.069 V

Solution:

As per the question:

Diameter of the cylinder, d = 9.0 cm = 0.09 m

Length of the cylinder, l = 40 cm = 1.4 m

Average Resistivity, \rho = 5.5\ \Omega-m

Current, I = 100 mA = 0.1 A

Now,

To calculate the potential difference between the hands:

Cross- sectional Area of the Cylinder, A = \pi (\frac{d}{2})^{2} = 6.36\times 10^{- 3}\ m^{2}

Resistivity is given by:

\rho = R\frac{A}{l}

R = \rho \frac{l}{A}

R = 5.5\times \frac{1.4}{6.36\times 10^{- 3}} = 1210.69\ \Omega

Now, using Ohm's Law:

V = IR

V = 0.1\times 1210.69 = 121.069\ V
