Answer:

A. x = 3, y = -3

B. a = -2, b = 5

C. try your best ill see u later

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay I'mma state some stuff first 3^a + 3^b = 3^(a+b)

and 3^a/3^b = 3^(a-b)

So first equation 3^3*3^-3=3^0

So second equation 3^3/3^-2 = 3^5

So third equation I dont really know the rule but I'mm just plug in a random number for g, like 2, then solve the thing like a normal equation.

So 3^-3 x f^-3 = 12^2 = 144, f^-3 = 144/(3^-3 or 1/27) = 144 x 27 = 3888

so f^-3 = 3888, f = well its an imaginary number according to calculator so u try your best on the last one

The area of a trapezium is 147cm of the parallel sides and 5.3cm and 3.1cm long. Find the perpendicular distance between them.
Radda [10]

Answer:

35 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A trapezoid is a convex quadrilateral. A trapezoid has at least on pair of parallel sides. the parallel sides are called bases while the non parallel sides are called legs

Characteristics of a trapezoid

It has 4 vertices and edges

If both pairs of its opposite sides of a trapezoid are parallel, it becomes a parallelogram

Area of a trapezoid =   x (sum of the lengths of the parallel sides) x height

h = 147x2 / (5.3 + 3.1) = 35cm

If in a right triangle, leg a = 15 and the hypotenuse, c = 22, what does the other leg, b equal?
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

\sqrt{259} or approximately 16.09

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the pythagorean theorem, the formula would be a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}

insert 15 into a and 22 into c.

you will get 15^{2} + b^{2} = 22^{2}

That simplifies into 225 + b^{2} = 484

subtract the 225 from 484 to isolate the variable

then you will get b^{2} = 259

square root both sides to get rid of the square: \sqrt b^{2} = \sqrt{259}

if you want the decimal version, fully square root the number and you will get approximately 16.09 (rounded to the nearest hundredth)
