Answer:

What are the reasons people choose to use lossy compression?

The reason is that lossy compression can compress and decompress data repeatedly and the difference is not too far apart. Especially Audio and Image data. But files can degrade in quality if they go through the compression-decompression process too often.

Further Explanation:

Lossy Compression is one way to compress a data set and decompress it again. The data obtained may differ from the original data, but the difference is quite close. This method is most often used to compress multimedia data (audio files and images). The Lossy compression format loses generations, if it undergoes the compression-decompression process repeatedly, it will cause progressive loss of quality.

What are the Advantages of Compression?

 1. The image file size will be smaller.
 2. Provide more space for data storage, because image data has been reduced in size / size.
 3. Maintain the main value of the image without making a big difference to the compressed image.
 4. In steganography, the advantage is to get images of the right size while maintaining the pixel value of the image to preserve the information contained therein.

Example application and data compression process

Use the application to compress the sound (mp3 compressor), images (adobe photoshop, paint), video (xilisoft), documents (Winrar & ZIP). Examples of formats for lost compression files: MP3, JPEG, MPEG, .zip, .rar, .doc, .xls, .ppt, .exe

Answer: Because of the much less disk space. For example, images, videos, audios.

Explanation:

Lossy compression is used in information technology and it is also called irreversible compression.

This technique is using data encoding that is using incorrect data or partial data discarding. It is used for transmitting content, for sizing, handling, storing. The file is smaller if he has great compression and that are files, for example, JPEG images, MP3 format.

 • The reasons of using lossy compression is because of the results that are taking much less disk space than the original file does.
 • As an example, I will use a picture. Pictures can be saved into many smaller files. We can start with the normal size of the picture and then we can degrading it with structure. The picture would get smaller and smaller and the details would be less and less visible.

In a democracy disagreeing on the public interest is allowed
gtnhenbr [62]
True. It is a sign of democracy that people are free to disagree with certain policies or laws in government. They are free to express their opinions without fear of being intimidated or imprisoned for speaking your mind. Everyone has the right to do that. Only an oppressive regime would threaten or imprison someone who disagrees with their politics.

Which body is smaller with 31 members, has one member per 194,303 residents who serve four year terms, and has responsibilities
Kazeer [188]

Senate is a body smaller with 31 members, has one member per 194,303 residents who serve four-year terms and can confirm or reject governor's appointments.

What is a senate?

 • The Senate is the only body with the authority to ratify treaties, give advice, and confirm the Governor's necessary appointments.
 • However, there are two exceptions to this rule: any treaty involving international trade and the approval of Vice President nominees by the House.
 • Together with the House of Representatives, the Senate has complete legislative authority.
 • Additionally, the Senate alone has the power to accept or reject presidential nominations for executive and judicial positions as well as to give or withhold its "advice and consent" to treaties that the executive has negotiated.
 • In the Senate, every state has an equal voice, whereas, in the House of Representatives, representation is determined by the population of each state.
