Answer:

3.61 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Length of track = 5/6 of a mile

Number times Mary was able to run around the track = 4 1/3 times

Total miles ran by Mary :

(Equivalent mile of the track * number of times Mary ran around the track)

5/6 of a mile * 4 1/3 times

5/6 * 13/3

= 65 / 18

= 3.611111 miles

Hence, total Number of miles ran by Mary is 3.61 miles

I hate Geometry.... Help?
Usimov [2.4K]
Hello there,

Okay, Let's start with RS. So what I did was I subtracted (3x-4)-(4x+1) and the reason I did that was because (4x+1) equal's the whole length. And sense I dont know the length of RS yet. . . I will use the other length to find out. So when you calculate those both. Your correct answer is (x+5).

RS= x=5

Hope this helps.

The first term of a geometric sequence is –2 and the common ratio is -1/4. What are the next three terms of the sequence?
Gelneren [198K]
I agree with the answer being B because since it's a common ratio you could just multiply -1/4 with -2 and keep doing that with each new term

Help me on this plz
Andrews [41]

Answer: $467.21

Step-by-step explanation:

8% of 600 = 48

600 - 48 = 552

8% of 552 = 44.16

552 - 44.16 = 507.84

8% of 507.84 = 40.6272

8% of 507.84 ≈ 40.63

507.84 - 40.63 = 467.21
