You will do area for a triangle . when multiplying with the (x+9) you will just multiply the number infront of the parentheses by both the x and the 9. for example the 60 would be 60(x+9) which would be 60x+540

Answer:

  d, e

Step-by-step explanation:

The applicable rules of exponents are ...

  (a^b)(a^c) = a^(b+c)

  a^-b = 1/a^b

__

In this case, it means the product is ...

  (6^1)(6^0)(6^-3) = 6^(1+0-3) = 6^-2 = 1/6^2 = 1/36

__

The 6 without an exponent is equivalent to 6^1, an exponent of 1.

The sum of the exponents is -2.

Add the exponents to simplify the expression.

The value of the expression is 1/36.

An equivalent is any expression that results in 6^-2. One such is (6^5)(6^-7).

__

Only the last two choices, d and e, apply.

Step-by-step explanation:

2. from the diagram:

sin \theta = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}\\sin (8) = \frac{4.5}{AB} \\AB = \frac{4.5}{sin(8)} \\AB = \frac{4.5}{0.1392} \\AB = 32.33ft

the number of kilometers a car can drive varies directly with the liters of fuel in the car. this car can travel 476 kilometers
notka56 [123]

For this case we have that the relationship is direct.

Therefore, we have:

y = k * x

Where,

y: distance traveled in kilometers

x: number of liters of fuel

k: proportionality constant

We must look for the value of k. For this, we use the following data:

This car can travel 476 kilometers on 17 liters of fuel.

Substituting values we have:

476 = k * 17

From here, we clear the value of k:

k = \frac{476}{17}\\k = 28

Therefore, the relationship is:

y = 28x

For 1428 kilometers we have:

1428 = 28x

Clearing the amount of fuel we have:

x = \frac{1428}{28}\\x = 51

Answer:

51 liters of fuel are required for the vehicle to travel 1,428 kilometers
