r-causing radiation throughout the area. On the other hand, it brought about a faster end to the war and spared the lives of American soldiers. So, what did you think? Do the pros outweigh the cons? Answer:

The pros do not outweigh the cons in this situation because Japan was already getting ready to give up. There was no need to drop those atomic bombs especially since they had already dropped multiple fire bombs. The Atomic bombs were not needed the caused way more damage than needed.
