Calculate the mass of 0. 4 moles of water.

Chemistry

Anna [14]3 years ago
5 0

Answer:

7.208 g

Explanation:

0.4mol x \frac{2(1.01) + 16.00 g}{1 mol}

= 7.208 g

You are using molar mass of H20 to find the mass. Moles of 0.4 and 1 mol cancel out leaving you with just grams. You get the values in the numerator from the periodic table and the 2(1.01) is because you have 2 of the H in H20

In the environment, arsenic is found in inorganic and organic forms and in different valence or oxidation states based on geolog
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

Arsenic is an element that has similar behavior to metal, it is toxic to humans. It can be produced by some human activities but it is also available in nature in its organic or inorganic form, this last one being more toxic.

Organic arsenic can be found especially in sea-living organisms.

Inorganic arsenic can be found in the earth's crust and it can affect the acidity levels (PH) of the soil.

Consider the following isomerization reactions of some simple sugars and values for their standard Gibbs free energy ΔGo:reactio
koban [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

glucose-1-phosphate  →  glucose-6-phosphate,  ΔGo = -7.28 kJ/mol

fructose-6-phosphate → glucose-6-phosphate,    ΔGo = -1.67 kJ/mol

subtracting the equation

glucose-1-phosphate - fructose-6-phosphate  = 0 , ΔGo =  -7.28  - ( -1.67 ) kJ / mol

glucose-1-phosphate  = fructose-6-phosphate      ΔGo  = - 5.61 kJ / mol

- ΔGo = RT lnK

5.61 x 10³ = 8.31 x 298 x lnK

lnK = 2.265

K = 9.63 .
