Answer:

435.38 L

Explanation:

From the question,

Applying ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT................... Equation 1

Where P = Pressure, V = Volume, n = number of moles, R = molar gas constant, T = Temperature.

Since Temperature and Pressure were constant,

V ∝ n

V/n = V'/n'.................... Equation 2

Where V and V' = the initial and final Volume of Ar respectively, n and n' = the initial and final moles of Ar respectively

make V' the subject of the equation

V' = Vn'/n............... Equation 3

Given: V = 100 L, n = 3.25 mol, n' = 14.15

Substitute into equation 3

V' = (100×14.14)/3.25

V' = 435.38 L

The average density of a planet is 3.05 g/cm3. What is its density in kg/m3? (Enter your answer in scientific notation.)
jasenka [17]

Answer:

3.05 ×10³ Kg/m³

Explanation:

Density:

Density is equal to the mass of substance divided by its volume.

Units:

SI unit of density is Kg/m3.

Other units are given below,

g/cm3, g/mL , kg/L

Formula:

D=m/v

D= density

m=mass

V=volume

Symbol:

The symbol used for density is called rho. It is represented by ρ. However letter D can also be used to represent the density.

Given data:

Density = 3.05 g/cm³

Density in Kg/m³ = ?

Solution:

In order to convert the g/cm³ to Kg/m³ we will multiply the value with 1000.

3.05 g/cm³ × 1000 Kg/m³ / 1 g/cm³

3050 Kg/m³

In scientific notation:

3.05 ×10³ Kg/m³

Potassium hydrogen phthalate is often used to standardize solutions of strong bases. Highly pure samples of this solid weak acid
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

0.12 M

Explanation:

Molarity of sodium hydroxide = number of moles of sodium hydroxide / volume in liters

equation of reaction between NaOH and Potassium hydrogen phthalate

NaOH(aq) + KHC₈H₄O₄(aq) KNaC₈H₄O₄(aq) + H₂O(aq)

molar mass of KHC₈H₄O₄ = 204.22g/mol

amount required to titrate with NaOH = 0.5816 g

mole of KHC₈H₄O₄ = 0.5816 g / 204.22g/mol = 0.00285 mole

considering the equation, 1 mole of NaOH required 1 mole of KHC₈H₄O₄

0.00285 mole KHC₈H₄O₄ will require 0.00285 mole of NaOH

Molarity = 0.00285 mole / ( 23.73 ml / 1000ml) L = 0.12 M

create visual representations that show the interactions between the particles in both samples during vaporization
ivolga24 [154]

Given what we know, we can confirm that despite not being able to provide a visual representation, if you were to create one, it would show the atoms in the substance moving with more and more energy over time until vaporization occurred.

What is vaporization?

 • Vaporization is the changing of a liquid into a gas.
 • This is known as a phase change.
 • This happens when the atoms receive enough heat energy.
 • The heat energy provides the atoms with kinetic energy and causes them to move faster over time.
 • When the kinetic energy is enough to rupture the bonds that hold a liquid together, it becomes a gas.

Therefore, given that vaporization is when atoms within a substance gain so much kinetic energy that they are able to rupture the bonds that hold them relatively close together and change into a gas, we can confirm that a visual representation would have to be a diagram showing the increased movement of atoms over time.
