First of all, you need to know what a simile is in order to complete this sentence. A simile is a rhetorical figure of speech in which you are comparing two or more things using words such as like or as. In the sentence above, you are already using the word like so you need to compare English class with something else. For example:
English class is like a tree full of savory fruit.

English class is like receiving presents on your birthday

or

English class is like having to sit through a movie you didn’t want to see but will be tested on when it’s over.

Similes are comparisons using the words “like” or “as” in order to give readers a better sense of understanding when there may otherwise be little understanding or not the understanding a writer wishes to convey. What this means is that authors will compare something that may not be known to readers to something that most likely will be known in order to present the best image understood by the most readers. Because not everyone may have the same perspective of an English class as you, for instance, one way to convey an idea of what English class is to you, the use of a simile would work well. If you enjoyed your English class you might compare it to something you know your general audience enjoys and write something like “English class is like receiving presents on your birthday” because of how each day’s knowledge is wonderful surprising experience for you. If you hated English class, you might write something like English class is like having to sit through a movie you didn’t want to see but will be tested on when it’s over. As you can see the use of similes make writing more expressively.

"How do your close friends see you? In a positive light? Partially positive? Either way...explain why."
ch4aika [34]

My friends see me in a partially positive light, I guess you can say that out of the team I am the most mature. My friends aren't what you call honest or good friends, they are actually the exact opposite. I keep my distance and so do they. The reason why is because some time we have had some problems we didn't work out so now we all go our separate ways while still calling each other friends. We keep distance, but that doesn't mean we are cats to each other. We treat each other neutral.

We all enjoy participating in recreational sports from time to time, but while some sports are safe, others can be very risky. T
nasty-shy [4]

Parkour (or art of displacement) is a discipline that consists of moving through the urban or natural environment, overcoming the obstacles that arise in your journey (fences, walls, buildings) in the most fluid and efficient way possible, and with the only possibilities of the human body. Parkour consists of going from one place to another as quickly as possible, similar to the free race. The last one, on the other hand, emphasizes freedom of movement. Both sports involve running, climbing and jumping walls, railings and buildings.

Sport is understood as a regulated activity, usually of a competitive nature, that can improve the physical condition of those who practice it. It has properties that differentiate it from the game. Who develops it has fun competing and achieving personal goals. It also stimulates growth in equipment and achieving true sport spirit. It is a healthy and sociable activity in which you can see roles development and loyal competition. But it is necessary, jump buildings to have fun. I believe that the boredom of the human being reached its maximum point and the objective of sport has already been lost sight of. It simply seeks to stand out, call attention, ridiculous eccentricity. To the point of putting life at risk.
