The King was able to live in a big palace with more than one room and gardens, while the poor Aztecs were living in a smaller place with maybe two rooms and roofs made of palm leaves. Showering and bathing were an important part of Aztec daily life along with Cooking, farming, hunting, and construction to be able to make a normal living.
