Mathematics

Given:

Length of the cuboid tank = 4 m

Breadth = 2.5 m

Height = 2.4 m

One third of the tank is filled with water.

1 cubic meter = 1000 liters.

To find:

The quantity of the water in the tank.

Solution:

Volume of a cuboid is:

V=l\times b\times h

Where, l is length, b is breadth and h is the height.

The volume of the tank is :

V=4\times 2.5\times 2.4

V=24

Volume of tank is 24 cubic meter.

One third of the tank is filled with water. So, the volume of the water is

\dfrac{24}{3}=8

The volume of water is 8 cubic meters.

We have,

1 cubic meter = 1000 liters.

8 cubic meter = 8000 liters.

Therefore, the quantity of the water in the tank is 8000 liters.

Hi there

This is how you read the question: What is the cube root of 64.
To answer this question ask yourself what number multiplied by itself three times gives you the answer 64?
1*1*1=1
2*2*2=8
3*3*3=27
4*4*4=64
YAY! that means the answer is 4.

Hope this helps.
And you give me the brainliest answer.
Thanks

A garden hose emits 9 quarts of water in 6 seconds how much did the water emit in 10seconds
jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

In 10 seconds, the garden hose will emit 15 quarts of water.

Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of water emitted by the garden hose over time can be expressed as a ratio:  9/6, or 9 quarts of water for every 6 seconds of time.  We can then simplify this ratio to 3/2, or 3 quarts of water for every 2 seconds of time.  Since the ratio will remain constant, or the same, over time, we can set up an equivalent ratio, or fraction to find the amount of water emitted in 10 seconds:  3/2 = x/10.  We look at the denominators and see that 2 x 5 = 10.  In order to make the ratios equivalent, we would also multiply the numerator by 5:  3 x 5 = 15, which gives us the amount of water emitted in 10 seconds.
