Given :

sec^2\ x + 2sec\ x = 0

To Find :

All real value solution of given equation.

Solution :

Simplifying given equation, we get :

sec x( sec x + 2 ) = 0

sec x = 0  and (sec x + 2) = 0

For, sec x = 0 :

x = not defined.

For, (sec x + 2) = 0 :

cos x = -1/2

x = cos⁻¹( -1/2 ) = 2π/3

Therefore, general solution is ( 2nπ ± 2π/3 ), n ∈ Z⁺ .

The amount of soda dispensing machine pours into a can of soda is normally distributedwith a mean of 12 ounces and a standard de
kaheart [24]

Answer:

0.1056

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean(μ) = 12 ounce

Standard deviation (σ) = 0.2 ounce

P(x<11.75) = ???

Let x be the random variable for the amount of soda a machine will dispense.

Using normal distribution

Z = (x - μ) / σ

Z = (11.75 - 12) / 0.2

Z = (-0.25)/0.2

Z = -1.25

From the normal distribution table

1.28 is 0.3944

Φ(z) is the tabular value of z

Φ(z) = 0.3944

Recall that when Z is negative

P(x<a) = 0.5 - Φ(z)

P(x < 11.75) = 0.5 - 0.3944

= 0.1056

-2v3 + v75
Lena [83]

Answer:

a)      3\sqrt{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Step(i):-

Given     - 2 √3 + √75

     we know that        25 × 3 = 75

                 - 2 √3 + √75

            =    -2 √3 + \sqrt{25 X 3}

By using

       \sqrt{ab} = \sqrt{a}  \sqrt{b}

          =  -2\sqrt{3} + \sqrt{25} X \sqrt{3}

         =  -2\sqrt{3} + 5  \sqrt{3}

        = (-2 + 5 ) \sqrt{3}

       = 3\sqrt{3}

A baseball stadium has 45,000 seats. If tickets have been brought for 5/8 of the seats for the next game, how many seats are sti
Nadusha1986 [10]

Subtraction is a mathematical operation that reflects the removal of things from a collection. The number of seats that are available in the stadium is 16,875.

<h3>What is subtraction?</h3>

Subtraction is a mathematical operation that reflects the removal of things from a collection. The negative symbol represents subtraction.

Given that a baseball stadium has 45,000 seats, out of this 45,000 seats, 5/8 of the seats are bought for the next game.

Therefore, the number of seats that are still available is,

Number of seats available

= Total number of seats - Seats already sold

= 45,000 - (45,000 × 5/8)

= 45,000 - 28,125

= 16,875

Hence, the number of seats that are available in the stadium is 16,875.

Umm what are the answers for :
navik [9.2K]

Step-by-step explanation:

21% of 36570

21/100 x 36570 = 7679.7

12.2% of 640

12.2/100 x 640 = 78.08

87.5% of 860

87.5/100 x 860 = 752.5

37.5% of 3200

37.5/100 x 3200 = 1200
