Can someone please help me with my science research I kind of need help in a few things that I listed, I’m currently working on

this element which is called Curium if anyone can help me out please do, thanks. Anyway here’s the questions:
Where can it be found?

What is its importance? What are its uses?

Answer:

For your first question, Curium does not occur naturally on Earth, meaning that it is not produced naturally on Earth. However, it can be formed in nuclear reactors.

For your second question, Curium has been used to provide power to electrical equipment used on space missions, but doesn't seem to be that important overall.

A thermometer reads a pressure of 120 kPa at 0 ˚C. What is the temperature when the thermometer reads a pressure of 80 kPa? (Cel
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

T₂ = 182 K

Explanation:

Given that,

Initial pressure, P₁ = 120 kPa

Initial temperature, T₁ = 0˚C = 273 K

We need to find the final temperature when the pressure is 80 kPa.

We know that, Gay Lussac's Formula is :

\dfrac{P_1}{T_1}=\dfrac{P_2}{T_2}\\\\T_2=\dfrac{P_2T_1}{P_1}\\\\T_2=\dfrac{80\ kPa\times 273}{120\ kPa}\\\\T_2=182\ K

So, the new temperature is equal to 182 K.

What's a good idea for a limiting reactant project
amid [387]
Original Recipe
1 (18 1/4 ounce) Box devils food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
Confectioners' Sugar (for rolling)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir (by hand) cake mix, oil, and eggs- until dough forms. Dust with sugar and shape into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan after one minute and put on cooling rack.
Cooking for 17 people
My original yield was 30 cookies.

17 cookies (1box cake mix/30 cookies)= .56 of a box= 1/2 box

17 cookies (1/2 cup oil/30 cookies)= .283 cups of oil= 1/4 cups

17 cookies (2 eggs/30 cookies)= 1.13 eggs= 1 egg
Percent Yeild
I was able to bake 24 cookies, with my original yeild being 30.

(24 cookies/30 cookies) x 100= 80% yeild

How many valence electrons does the lewis structure for a chlorine atom show? the molecule structure of cl has with electrons a.
blsea [12.9K]

Seven valence electrons are present in the 'Lewis structure' for the given chlorine atom

A Chlorine atom has total 17 electrons in total. In the 'first orbit' 2 electrons, 10 electrons in the 'second orbit' and finally 7 electrons in the last orbit. As Chlorine is a Group 7 element, chlorine will have 7 'valence electrons' in its outermost orbit. While drawing the 'Lewis structure' of Chlorine we shall put seven dots that is the electrons or valance electrons around the symbol of Chlorine (CI).

<h3>What are Valence electrons ?</h3>

The electrons in an atom's outermost shell, or energy level, are called valence electrons. For instance, the valence electrons of oxygen are six, with two in the 2s subshell and four in the 2p subshell.

  • An atom's outer shell electrons, known as valence electrons, can take role in the creation of chemical bonds. When two atoms establish a single covalent bond, normally both atoms contribute one valence electron to create a shared pair. The ground state of an atom is its state with the least amount of energy.
