The five pillars – the declaration of faith (shahada), prayer (salah), alms-giving (zakat), fasting (sawm) and pilgrimage (hajj) – constitute the basic norms of Islamic practice. They are accepted by Muslims globally irrespective of ethnic, regional or sectarian differences. they are the most important Muslim practices .they are the five obligations that every Muslim must satisfy in order to live a good and responsible life according to Islam. The Five Pillars consist of: Shahadah: sincerely reciting the Muslim profession of faith

The pillars of Iman ( faith) are those things that are believed in, in Islam. Iman

means faith. There are six (6) pillars of faith. These pillars consist of:

  1. Belief in Allah
  2. Belief in His Angels
  3. Belief in His Messengers
  4. Belief in His Books
  5. Belief in the Last Day
  6. Belief in Al-Qadar (Pre-Ordainment)
