First we can divide this figure into 2 parts, a rectangle down and a quadrilateral up.
For the first rectangle down the area is 11 x 20= 220 m^2.
For the remaining part we have on side which is equal 10 meters and the other part we don’t know it, but if you take the big side on the left and remove from it the part on the right u get the other measurement that you need. So you get:
21 - 11= 10 meters. So now we know that the remaining part is a square because we have all the side that are 10 meters, then we do 10x10= 100m ^2.

Then finally we add both areas for the total area: 220+100= 320m ^2 .

Answer:

Answer C - 320

Step-by-step explanation:

The total area would be 420 if there was no cutout. The cutout is 100. Substract that from 420 and you have your answer.

Please help me in questions 15 and 21 with their inequalities and graph
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

x >= 7 OR x < -8

n <= -3 AND n > -6

Step-by-step explanation:

15) 7x - 6 >= 43 OR 10x + 4 < -76

7x >= 43 + 6 OR 10x < -76 - 4

7x >= 49 OR 10x < -80

x >= 7 OR x < -8

you can draw based on this

for >= it is full dot for < it is like circle on the graph

you have to draw both x>= 7 , x < -8 on the same line because it is OR

so both ranges of x are possible

21) 3 + 2n <= -3 AND 1 - 3n < 19

2n <= -3 -3 AND -3n < 19 - 1

2n <= -6 AND -3n < 18

n <= -3 AND 3n > -18

n <= -3 AND n > -6

so it lies between -6 and -3

If there were 5 million births in a particular country and 3 comma 375 sets of naturally occurring triplets, what is the experi
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Probablity =P=6.75*10^-^4

Step-by-step explanation:

The experimental probability can be defined as the ratio of the number of times any particular event has occurred to the total number of times that event has taken place.

Experimental probability = P = No. of event occurrences / total number of occurrences.

In our question statement,

No of naturally occurring triplets are = 3375

Total number of births = 5 million = 5,000,000

Putting values in equation.

P=3375/5000000

P = 0.000675\\P=6.75*10^-^4
