Numerator:

1 - one

2- two

and so on.

over the denominator

which you state as an ordinal number

A sample of n = 16 scores has a mean of M = 40 and a variance of s2 = 64. What is the estimated standard error for the sample me
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

S.E = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Mean = 40

s^2 = 64 ----- variance

n = 16 ------------ sample

Required

Determine the S.E

The estimated standard error (S.E) for the sample mean is calculated using the following formula:

S.E = \frac{SD}{\sqrt n}

Where

SD = Standard\ Deviation

SD = \sqrt {s^2}

SD = \sqrt {64}

SD = 8

So:

S.E = \frac{SD}{\sqrt n}

S.E = \frac{8}{\sqrt{16}}

S.E = \frac{8}{4}

S.E = 2

Hence: the estimated standard error for the sample mean is 2

the ratio of cats and dogs at the city pound is 92 to 144.which statement descrbes this relationship?
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

There are 23 cats for every 36 dogs at the city pound

Step-by-step explanation:

This means that for every group of 92 cats at the city compound there is a group of 144 dogs. So it also means that for every group of 23 cats there is a group of 36 dogs.

92 to 144 or 92/144 = 23/26  or 23 to 36
