The type of hormonal interaction that occurs when more than one hormone acting on a target cell produce an amplified effect is _
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer: Synergism

Explanation:

Synergism occurs in the body when there is the combination of two or more hormones acting to produce effects which is more than the sum of their normal individual effect. For example the combination of follicle and testosterone hormones helps in stimulation for the usual production of sperm, if one of them is absent it could lead to either low or no sperm production at all, whereas if the two are present a man can produce about 300,000 sperm per minute.

mestny [16]

Answer:

Jasmine will succeed because Christine's expectations can form self-fulfilling prophecy.

Explanation:

Self-fulfilling prophecy is a result of the Pygmalion effect. According to this theory, we are influenced by other people's expectations of us. If people believe we will succeed, we too begin to believe we will succeed. For that reason, we change our behavior, aligning it with the belief, making a self-fulfilling prophecy out of it. Therefore, according to the Pygmalion effect theory, Jasmine will succeed because Christine believes she will. Jasmine's performance will be influenced by Christine's expectations.
