Answer:

120 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that, 3-letter sequences should be formed, where the second letter must be a vowel (A, E, I, O, U) and the third letter must differ from the first letter.

There are 26 alphabets in English,

so, firstly let us fix the second letter to be one of the vowels

now we are left with 25 alphabets and now let us fix the third letter to be an alphabet from the remaining 25 alphabets.

now, we are left with 24 alphabets and the first letter can be any of these 24 alphabets.

so, there are 24 ways to fill the sequence.

The same thing can be done with the other 4 vowels.

so, total number of ways =   5 × 24 = 120 ways.

write a linear equation that has a slope of 1/2 and a y-intercept at the origin. (y=1/2x) (y=0x+1/2) (y=1/2x+1/2) (y=-1/2x)
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

The linear equation with given slope and y-intercept is:

Option 1: y = \frac{1}{2}x

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope-intercept form of equation is given by:

y = mx+b

Here

m is the slope of the line and b is the y-intercept.

Given that

Slope of line is 1/2 so m = 1/2

And y-intercept is on origin so b = 0

Putting the values we get

y = \frac{1}{2}x+0\\y = \frac{1}{2}x

Hence,

The linear equation with given slope and y-intercept is:

Option 1: y = \frac{1}{2}x

PLEASE HELP, 50 POINTS<br> QUESTION IS IN THE PICTURE
artcher [175]

Answer:

-\frac{50}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Find dy/dx of the ellipse  25x^{2} +y^{2}=109 at (2,3)

Using Implicit Differentiation

Differentiate both sides of the equation with respect to x

25x^{2} +y^{2}=109

50x +2y\frac{dy}{dx}=0

isolate the term dy/dx

2y\frac{dy}{dx}=-50x

\frac{dy}{dx}=-25\frac{x}{y}

Evaluate at point (2,3)

For x=2, y=3

\frac{dy}{dx}=-25(\frac{2}{3})

\frac{dy}{dx}=-\frac{50}{3}

If it is completely impossible to put a contract in writing, which of the following would be the best substitute?
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the the contract will be in verbal form. no matter if it is videotaped or recorded or both a "videoed verbal contract" not just written. so like paper thst is notarized or not this is still the same bc the the same rules apply the contract is still valid. the rest of the options are more like what they call gentlemens agreements which would be the handshake type of thing. and no matter what any agreement someone has to witness the transaction or contract. so definitely the answer is B

What are the x-intercepts of the graph of the function f(x) = x2 + 5x − 36?
Ede4ka [16]
Answer: Second option: (4,0) and (-9,0)

f(x)=x^2+5x-36

The x-intercepts of the graph of a function f(x) are the values of the variable x that makes f(x)=y equal to zero. To find these values we only have to equal f(x)=y to zero:
f(x)=y=0
x^2+5x-36=0

Factoring the polynomial:
(x+9)(x-4)=0

Using that if a b=0, then: a=0 or b=0
with a=x+9 and b=x-4

x+9=0 or x-4=0

Solving for x:
x+9-9=0-9 or x-4+4=0+4
x=-9 or x=4

Then the x-intercepts are the poitns (x,y)=(x,0):
(4,0) and (-9,0)
