Answer:

14 installatons

42 service calls

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x = no. of new installations

      y = no. of service calls

(1)    x + y = 56           (2)    450x + 75y = 9450

            y = 56 - x               450x + 75(56 - x) = 9450

                                           450x + 4200 - 75x = 9450

                                            375x = 5250

                                                   x = 14 installatons

             y = 56 - 14 = 42 service calls

Round off 174 to the nearest hundred
shepuryov [24]

Answer: 200

Step-by-step explanation:

174 rounded to the nearest hundred is:

200

When rounding to the nearest hundred, like we did with 174 above, we use the following rules:

A) We round the number up to the nearest hundred if the last two digits in the number are 50 or above.

B) We round the number down to the nearest hundred if the last two digits in the number are 49 or below.

C) If the last two digits are 00, then we do not have to do any rounding, because it is already to the hundred.

Answer:

x = 1?

Step-by-step explanation:

I think functions are basically just variables but extra so they both act the same. I'm not 100% sure but I Think

if f(x) = -5x + 1 when f(x) = 6,

replace f(x) with 6 so,

6 = 5x + 1

1 - 6 = 5x + 1 - 1

(subtract one on both sides to isolate the variable)

5 = 5x

5/5 = 5x/5

(to Actually isolate the variable lol

1 = x or x = 1

I believe is the answer? please comment if I'm wrong

*I WAS TOLD MY THOUGHT PROCESS IS WRONG ANYONE WHO SEES THIS PLEASE DISREGARD

The answer is D
if the legs are 5 and 4 cm the equation to find the hypotenuse would be 5^2+4^2=c^c
5 squared is 25 and 4 squared is 16 that gives you 41, normally you would square root the 41 but it gives you a decimal number
