An angle bisector is a line or ray that divides an angle into two congruent angles
so
in this problem
m∠RST=m∠RSV+m∠VST
m∠RSV=m∠VST
hence
m∠RST=2*m∠RSV --------> equation 1
we have
m∠RST=(6x-24)
m∠RSV=(2x+8)
Substitute in the equation 1
6x-24=2*(2x+8)
6x-24=4x+16
6x-4x=16+24
2x=40
x=40/2
x=20 degrees
therefore
the value of x is 20 degrees

TOY has coordinates T (-3, 4), O (-4, 1) and Y (-2, 3). a translation maps point T to T' (-1, 1). find the coordinates of O' and
NeX [460]

Answer:

Answer:  The correct option is (A) O' (−2, −2); Y' (0, 0).

Step-by-step explanation:  Given that the co-ordinates of the vertices of ΔTOY are T(−3, 4), O (−4, 1), and Y (−2, 3). A translation maps point T to T' (−1, 1).

We are to find the co-ordinates of the points O' and Y'.

The given transformation from T to T' is

T(−3, 4)   ⇒   T' (−1, 1).

Let,  (−3 + x, 4 + y) =  (-1, 1).

So,

and

That is, the transformation rule is

(a, b) ⇒ (a+2, b-3).

Therefore,

co-ordinates of O' are (-4+2, 1-3) = (-2, -2),

and

co-ordinates of Y' are (-2+2, 3-3) = (0, 0).

Thus, the required co-ordinates of O' and Y' are (-2, -2) and (0, 0) respectively.

Option (A) is correct.

Use the following matrices, A, B, C and D to perform each operation.
Vinvika [58]

Step-by-step explanation:

A=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}3&1\\5&7\end{array}\right]

B=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}4&1\\6&0\end{array}\right]

C=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-2&3&1\\-1&0&4\end{array}\right]

D=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-2&3&4\\0&-2&1\\3&4&-1\end{array}\right]

1.\\A+B=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}3&1\\5&7\end{array}\right]+\left[\begin{array}{ccc}4&1\\6&0\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}3+4&1+1\\5+6&7+0\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}7&2\\11&7\end{array}\right]

2.\\B-A=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}4&1\\6&0\end{array}\right]-\left[\begin{array}{ccc}3&1\\5&7\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}4-3&1-1\\6-5&0-7\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}1&0\\1&-7\end{array}\right]

3.\\3C=3\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-2&3&1\\-1&0&4\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}(3)(-2)&(3)(3)&(3)(1)\\(3)(-1)&(3)(0)&(3)(4)\end{array}\right]=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-6&9&3\\-3&0&12\end{array}\right]

4.\\C\cdot D=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-2&3&1\\-1&0&4\end{array}\right]\cdot\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-2&3&4\\0&-2&1\\3&4&-1\end{array}\right]\\\\=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}(-2)(-2)+(3)(0)+(1)(3)&(-2)(3)+(3)(-2)+(1)(4)&(-2)(4)+(3)(1)+(1)(-1)\\(-1)(-2)+(0)(0)+(4)(3)&(-1)(3)+(0)(-2)+(4)(4)&(-1)(4)+(0)(1)+(4)(-1)\end{array}\right]\\=\left[\begin{array}{ccc}7&-8&-6\\14&13&-8\end{array}\right]

5.\\2D+3C\\\text{This operation can't be performed because the matrices}\\\text{ are of different dimensions.}

PLEASE HELP I WILL GIVE BRAINLEST
Ira Lisetskai [31]
The theoretical probability of getting heads or tails is 1/2 the time.

1/2 of 150 = 75

 So theoretically you would get 75  heads and 75 tails.

The experiment got 84 heads, which is greater than 75, so it would be higher than the theoretical probability.

The answer is : <span>It is 6% higher than the theoretical probability.</span>

Which answer shows a reflection across the y-axis?<br><br> A<br> B<br> C<br> D
padilas [110]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The y axis is the vertical axis; the one going up and down.

A reflection means that a point is an equal distance away from its reflector as the basis was.

A was a reflection across the line y=x.

B was a reflection across the x axis with a 90 degree rotation.

C was a reflection across the x axis.

That leaves D.
