Answer:

1200 millimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Height=1 meter 20 centimeter

In order to convert the height into millimeter we have to convert to millimeter

We will have to convert the meters into centimeters and then centimeters into millimeter.

So,

We know that

1 meter=100 cm

So total height in centimeters will be:

1 meter 20 centimeter=100+20

= 120 cm

In order to convert centimeters into millimeters, we will use

1 cm=10 millimeter

To convert into smaller unit, multiplication is used,

So,

120 cm=120*10

=1200 mm

So the height in millimeter is 1200 ..

-2-5(4n-6)=-132 not really sure how to do this one ..
uranmaximum [27]

All you have to do is follow PEMDAS (if you don't know what that is, search it up).

-2-5(4n-6)=-132

Distribute the 5 to everything in the parentheses.

-2-20n+30= -132

Combine like terms.

-20n+28 = -132

Subtract 28 from both sides.

-20n = -160

Divide by -20 on both sides.

n = 8

circle 1 is centered at 4,3 and has a radius of 5 centimeters circle 2 is centered at 6,-2 and has a radius of 15 centimeters. W
wolverine [178]
We know that
<span>Figures can be proven similar if one, or more, similarity transformations (reflections, translations, rotations, dilations) can be found that map one figure onto another.
In this problem to prove circle 1 and circle 2 are similar, a translation and a scale factor (from a dilation) will be found to map one circle onto another.

</span>we have that
 <span>Circle 1 is centered at (4,3) and has a radius of 5 centimeters
</span><span> Circle 2 is centered at (6,-2) and has a radius of 15 centimeters
</span>
step 1
<span>Move the center of the circle 1 onto the center of the circle 2
</span>the transformation has the following rule
(x,y)--------> (x+2,y-5)
so
(4,3)------> (4+2,3-5)-----> (6,-2)
so
center circle 1 is now equal to center circle 2
<span>The circles are now concentric (they have the same center)
</span>
step 2
A dilation is needed to increase the size of circle 1<span> to coincide with circle 2
</span>
scale factor=radius circle 2/radius circle 1-----> 15/5----> 3

radius circle 1 will be=5*scale factor-----> 5*3-----> 15 cm
radius circle 1 is now equal to radius circle 2

A translation, followed by a dilation<span> will map one circle onto the other, thus proving that the circles are similar</span>

Suppose f⃗ (x,y,z)=⟨x,y,4z⟩f→(x,y,z)=⟨x,y,4z⟩. let w be the solid bounded by the paraboloid z=x2+y 2 z=x2+y2 and the plane z=9.z
Aleonysh [2.5K]
\mathbf F(x,y,z)=\langle x,y,4z\rangle

By the divergence theorem, the surface integral taken over S,

\displaystyle\iint_S\mathbf F\,\mathrm dS

is equivalent to the triple integral of the divergence of \mathbf F over W, the space bounded S,

\displaystyle\iiint_W(\nabla\cdot\mathbf F)\,\mathrm dV

We have

\nabla\cdot\mathbf F=\dfrac{\partial x}{\partial x}+\dfrac{\partial y}{\partial y}+\dfrac{\partial(4z)}{\partial z}=1+1+4=6

The latter integral is then given by

\displaystyle6\iiint_W\mathrm dV=6\int_{|x|\le3}\int_{|y|\le3}\int_{x^2+y^2\le z\le9}\mathrm dz\,\mathrm dy\,\mathrm dx=648
