Answer:

The Fe-60, (iron-60) is formed during the gigantic scale explosion of the stars. However the amount of the isotope that can be located here on Earth after coming from distant stars is small

The Fe-60 is therefore, a source of evidence that the solar system formed from the after effect of stellar explosions.

The abundance of iron in the universe consists of 90% Fe-56, which has 26 protons along side 30 neutrons.

The Fe-60 however has 34 neutrons and the extra 4 neutrons given the Fe-60 its radioactive properties, such that it decays to form nickel-60 with an half life of 1.5 million years.

The nickel-60 found in meteorites are therefore, more or less the remnant of the radioactive decay of Fe-60 formed during the supernova explosion that likely formed our solar system

how do i describe the second part of anaphase one the cell cycle? as in after the division of chromosomes.
loris [4]

Answer:

I think this will help u with the answer that ur looking for. I hope so

Explanation:

Anaphase is the fourth phase of mitosis, the process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells. Before anaphase begins, the replicated chromosomes, called sister chromatids, are aligned at along the equator of the cell on the equatorial plane. The sister chromatids are pairs of identical copies of DNA joined at a point called the centromere.

During anaphase, each pair of chromosomes is separated into two identical, independent chromosomes. The chromosomes are separated by a structure called the mitotic spindle. The mitotic spindle is made of many long proteins called microtubules, which are attached to a chromosome at one end and to the pole of a cell at the other end. The sister chromatids are separated simultaneously at their centromeres. The separated chromosomes are then pulled by the spindle to opposite poles of the cell.

Anaphase ensures that each daughter cell receives an identical set of chromosomes, and it is followed by the fifth and final phase of mitosis, known as telophase.

Researchers want to use edna to look for an invasive species in a waterway. which of these steps should they do last? a. precipi
VikaD [51]

The step at which the researchers would do at the end of researching Edna is to amplify the amount of DNA.

Option (d);

EXPLANATION:

 • The term EDNA means Environmental DNA.
 • Invasive species in the waterway are the waterborne plants and animals who can likely cause effects to the human as well as the environment.
 • If researchers want to use eDNA to look for invasive species in the waterway, they will first collect a sample.
 • After cutting DNA into pieces, DNA would be precipitated in each sample.
 • And in the end, the amount of DNA would be amplified in each sample to understand how it would cause harm to the environment.
