I think it’s y=1/4x bc if you plug it into the equation:
x= 2 cups of flour
y = 1/2 cups of sugar
the equation: y=1/4x
1/2=1/4(2)
1/2 = 1/2 which makes the equation true, or just plug in the numbers to the equation to see if it’s fits right
final: y=1/4x
i hope this helped

Answer to part A:  11w^2+7z^2

Answer to part B:  14w^2+9w

=================================================

Explanation:

For part A, the expression 4w^2+7w^2+7z^2 has one pair of like terms. That pair is 4w^2 and 7w^2 which combine to 11w^2. You add the coefficients to get 4+7 = 11, then tack w^2 onto everything to say 4w^2+7w^2 = 11w^2

We cannot combine 11w^2 and 7z^2 as they aren't like terms. So we leave it as 11w^2+7z^2

--------------------

In part B, the like terms are 15w and -9w. They combine to 15w-9w = 6w. You can think of it like 15-9 = 6 then stick a 'w' to each term. We cannot combine the w^2 term with the w terms.

How to use replacement in probability
dolphi86 [110]

Step-by-step explanation:

Replacement means the probability of each trial is the same (the trials are independent).

For example, let's say you have a standard deck of 52 cards, and you want to find the probability of drawing a queen card twice.

There are 4 queens, so the probability on the first draw is 4/52.

You then replace the queen, so there are still 4 queens in the deck.  So the probability on the second draw is still 4/52.

The total probability is the product: 4/52 × 4/52 = 1/169

If you didn't replace the queen after the first draw, there would have been 3 queens in the deck, and the probability on the second draw would have been 3/52.

The answer is "Connect two arcs together with a compass".
You can inscribe different regular polygons by creating a circle and connecting two arcs together. There are different procedures and they depends on what kind of regular polygon you will be creating.
