Chemistry

The unit of concentration in all the data is M. That is molarity or number of moles of solute per liter of solution.

The amount of sample or volume does not varies the concentration of the solution.

Then you only must compare the molarities and the greater the molarity (moles/liter) the greater the concentration or the more is concentrated the solution.

In this case the order is 0.90 M < 1.00 M < 1.45 M < 2.00 M.

And so, we get to the conclusion that the option C. is the most concentrated solution: 800 mL of 2.00 HCl.

Describe the nuclear model of the atom
gulaghasi [49]
An atom consist of mainly two parts, namely nucleus and electrons. In the nucleus, there are groups of protons and neutron DENSELY packed, each element has its own atomic number(number of protons) but can have different no. of neutron (isotop). within the proton and neutron, there are subatomic particles called quarks. Talking about the electrons, they move very quickly arround the nucleus and there are different energy level for electron to switch between. In chemical reaction, we are only concerning the no. of valence electrons.

Sewage and industrial pollutants dumped into a body of water can reduce the dissolved oxygen concentration and adversely affect
MArishka [77]

Answer:

FALSE

Since 0.385 < 0.526, the value for week 3 is accepted.

Explanation:

Qexp = (|Xq - Xₙ₋₁|)/w

where Xq is the suspected outlier; Xₙ₋₁ is the next nearest data point; w is the range of data

First, the data are arranged in decreasing order, from highest to lowest:

3. 5.6

2. 5.1

8. 5.1

1. 4.9

6. 4.9

5. 4.7

7. 4.5

4. 4.3

Xq = 5.6; Xₙ₋₁ = 5.1; w = 5.6 - 4.3 = 1.3

Qexp = (|5.6 - 5.1|)/1.3 = 0.385

From tables, at 95% confidence level, for n = 8, Qcrit = 0.526

Since 0.385 < 0.526, the value for week 3 is accepted.
