I think it would be the radius, because if it’s from any point only to the center, then that’s literally the radius. Circumference is the distance AROUND the whole circle, diameter is from one side to the complete other side, and it’s def not area.

Multiply.
Problem in picture.

Simplify your answer as much as possible.
Leni [432]

Answer:

10y²/3x³

Step-by-step explanation:

You want to multiply the numerator times the numerator, and the denominator times the denominator.

This makes it 20y⁴x²/6x⁵y²

You can then simplify it further to 10y⁴x²/3x⁵y²

You can than subtract the power for futher simplification so the final answer is

10y²/3x³

The points (7,r) and (8,9) fall on a line with a slope of 5. What is the value of r?
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

r = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula and equate to 5

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (7, r ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (8, 9)

m = \frac{9-r}{8-7} = \frac{9-r}{1} = 9 - r = 5 ( subtract 9 from both sides )

- r = - 4 ( multiply both sides by - 1 )

r = 4
