Proof:

In $\triangle MNP$ and $\triangle OPN$:

$MN = OP$ (given)

$MP = ON$ (given)

$NP$ (common)

$\therefore \triangle MNP \cong \triangle OPN$ (SSS)

$\therefore$ $\angle M \cong \angle O$ since they are corresponding angles of congruent triangles.
