Answer:

The earliest known written records of the history of China date from as early as 1250 BC, from the Shang dynasty (c. 1600–1046 BC), during the king Wu Ding's reign who was mentioned as the twenty-first Shang king by the same

Explanation:

Ancient historical texts such as the Book of Documents (early chapters, 11th century BC), the Records of the Grand Historian (c. 100 BC) and the Bamboo Annals (296 BC) mention and describe a Xia dynasty (c. 2070–1600 BC) before the Shang, but no writing is known from the period, and Shang writings do not indicate the existence of the Xia. The Shang ruled in the Yellow River valley, which is commonly held to be the cradle of Chinese civilization. However, Neolithic civilizations originated at various cultural centers along both the Yellow River and Yangtze River. These Yellow River and Yangtze civilizations arose millennia before the Shang. With thousands of years of continuous history, China is one of the world's oldest civilizations and is regarded as one of the cradles of civilization.  The Zhou dynasty (1046–256 BC) supplanted the Shang, and introduced the concept of the Mandate of Heaven to justify their rule. The central Zhou government began to weaken due to external and internal pressures in the 8th century BC, and the country eventually splintered into smaller states during the Spring and Autumn period. These states became independent and fought with one another in the following Warring States period. Much of traditional Chinese culture, literature and philosophy first developed during those troubled times.   In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang conquered the various warring states and created for himself the title of Huangdi or "emperor" of the Qin, marking the beginning of imperial China. However, the oppressive government fell soon after his death, and was supplanted by the longer-lived Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). Successive dynasties developed bureaucratic systems that enabled the emperor to control vast territories directly. In the 21 centuries from 206 BC until AD 1912, routine administrative tasks were handled by a special elite of scholar-officials. Young men, well-versed in calligraphy, history, literature, and philosophy, were carefully selected through difficult government examinations. China's last dynasty was the Qing (1644–1912), which was replaced by the Republic of China in 1912, and then in the mainland by the People's Republic of China in 1949. The Republic of China retreated to Taiwan in 1949. Hong Kong and Macau transferred sovereignty to China in 1997 and 1999.  Chinese history has alternated between periods of political unity and peace, and periods of war and failed statehood—the most recent being the Chinese Civil War (1927–1949). China was occasionally dominated by steppe peoples, most of whom were eventually assimilated into the Han Chinese culture and population. Between eras of multiple kingdoms and warlordism, Chinese dynasties have ruled parts or all of China; in some eras control stretched as far as Xinjiang and Tibet, as at present. Traditional culture, and influences from other parts of Asia and the Western world (carried by waves of immigration, cultural assimilation, expansion, and foreign contact), form the basis of the modern culture of China.

Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Infant Nathan is smiling and "talking" with short, loud noises. His mother responds each time Nathan expresses himself by smiling and talking. This interaction is described as: <u> verbal “dialogues</u><u>”</u>.

Infants' early vocalisations (language), such as crying, cooing, and babbling, serve as the foundation upon which more sophisticated structures can be build. These high-pitched voice tones with a lot of modulation are preferred by newborns.

When speaking to a young infant, parents from diverse cultures and languages naturally utilise loud noises. In the first month, cooing noises are the first "answers" that babies make. Sometime within the first month, one of these pleasant social interactions results in these subtle vocalisations.

By the second month, the majority of babies will converse verbally with their parents back and forth in a "<u>dialogues</u>" that is cooperatively controlled by both parties.

Answer quickly pls!!! Question 1: In the government ruining against Standard Oil in the early 1900s, congress recognized the nee
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

- Question 1: In the government ruining against Standard Oil in the early 1900s, congress recognized the need

A. For the public to have access to natural resources.

B. For price controls in a command economy.

C. To protect competition in a mixed economy.

D. To protect the common good in a market economy.

The correct answer is D. To protect the common good in a market economy.

Indeed, the Supreme Court ruled that the practices of Standard Oil were monopolistic and although they had been considered legal under common law, their methods and consequences were the prices for the consumer increased, the production of oil decreased and the quality of oil also decrease which not only constituted a restraint of trade but also damaged consumers.

Question 2: how do government regulations like the Sherman antitrust act benefit Americans?

A.they ensure individual freedom.

B. They keep competition open and fair.

C. They protect the ideals of the U.S. Constitution.

D. They protect the safety of all Americans.

The correct answer is B. They keep competition open and fair.

Indeed, one of the main principles of capitalism is that competition between businesses forces them to innovate and maintain quality and offer the lowest possible prices to consumers at the best product quality. A consumer will be able to stop buying the products of a given company if these are too expensive or of very low quality and go and buy them from a competitor wit better prices and/or quality.

By becoming a monopoly, there is just one company and no competition, and consumers do not have a choice to buy their goods elsewhere as there is only one company that sells them at whatever price it chooses to and with whatever quality it decides. This lack of choice enables monopolistic companies to produce substandard, expensive goods that consumer have no choice but to buy since there are no competing manufacturers. The Sherman Act was passed exactly to avoid such cases.

When people consume the same clothes, food, and goods they eventually think and behave the same?
nikdorinn [45]
The statement above is false. It is because not all people are the same, they are unique in their own ways and how they live their life. It does not mean because they bought the same things as other individuals, they will behave or think the same. Things that they bought won't affect how they will behave or how they think about things for all people are different.
