Extensive roofs are lighter and do not need much maintenance and very few kinds of plants would be capable to grow on it.

2. The slope of the roof should be either flat or just inclined at an angle of 30 degrees to support the growth of plants.

3. You should have the fact in mind that your roof should acquire enough light from the sun for the growth of the plants.

4. Waterproofing of the roof should be done according to the climate conditions.
