Answer:

$0.36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost per unit of electricity  = e

Let the cost per unit of gas  = g

  a homeowner used 600 units of electricity and 100 units of gas for a total cost of 390;

   600e + 100g  = 390  ----- i

  400 units of electricity and 250 units of gas were used for a total cost of $326.

     400e + 250g  = 326 ----- ii

Now we have two equations, and we solve for g;

     600e + 100g  = 390  ----- i

     400e + 250g  = 326 ----- ii

Multiply equation i by 4 and equation ii by 6;

    2400e + 400g  = 1560 ---- iii

    2400e + 1500g  = 1956 ---- iv

Subtract equation iii from iv;

                  1100g  = 396

                       g  = \frac{396}{1100}   = 0.36

Cost per unit of gas $0.36

melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Therefore, 7.5 is the constant in mathematical expression.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the mathematical expression:

\frac{3}{4}ab+7.5Explanation[tex]\frac{3}{4} is cofficient of ab in this expression.

ab is variable( whose values can be changed).

7.5 is a constant term ( whose value can't be changed).

Therefore, 7.5 is the constant in mathematical expression.

What is the area of a Reuleaux triangle that has a diameter of 18.6 m? Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
pav-90 [236]

The Reuleaux triangle is shown in the attached figure

we know that

the area of a Reuleaux triangle is equal to

A=\frac{1}{2} *(\pi -\sqrt{3} )*r^{2}

where

r=18.6/2--------> r=9.3 m

so

A=\frac{1}{2} *(\pi -\sqrt{3} )*9.3^{2}

A=60.96

therefore

the answer is

61 m²
