Help please. There's this guy at my school who is seen as one of the popular guys ( I don't really care about that) but I really

like him and I don't know if he likes me back or if he just has a flirty personality. He talks and jokes with other girls but it seems like he makes an effort to touch me often. I don't see him do that with anyone else. (Lots of fist bumps lol) there was even one time he even made me dap him up then covered our hands with his other hand for a few seconds IN CLASS WITH OTHER PEOPLE LOOKING. Ughhhh I don't know. He also talks to me more seriously when we're alone and not as flirty as when other people are around. but there are other times when it seems like he could care less and never really talks to me outside of that class and we don't snap eachother or anything. Sorry this is so long I'm just so confused. (I'm in high school)

- comparing two by two of above mentioned states?

- considering the most important standards for a good living

So, we could say japan has a higher state of development then most countries cause techniquely they use their energy most efficiently, being quite a competitive part of the world

Cuba, on the other hand, lacks transparency and coordination in developing strategies , the hedonic needs being preserved and perpetuated by the cubans and the naturalised population, geopolical influences remaining to be looked into.

If a researcher's hypothesis is that the greater amount of time teenagers spend playing video games, the higher their grades in
julsineya [31]

Answer:

The amount of time spent playing video games.

Explanation:

When doing research, we usually come across two different types of variables. One is the independent variable and the other one is the dependant variable.

 • The independent variable is the one that we, as researchers, can control and that has an effect on another variable.
 • The dependant variable is the variable that we can't control and that is affected by the independent variable.

Therefore, we can control the independent variable but not the dependant variable. And the effect we will be observing will take place in the dependent variable.

In this example, the hypothesis is that the greater amount of time teenagers spend playing video games, the higher their grades in math. We can see that the hypothesis states that the math grades will be AFFECTED by the amount of hours teenagers spend playing video games. In other words, the amount of time spent playing will have an effect on the grades. Therefore, the independent variable is The amount of time spent playing video games.

How does self-control theory explain crime?
ale4655 [162]
The self-control theory of crime, often referred to as the general theory of crime, is a criminological theory about the lack of individual self-control as the main factor behind criminal behavior. The self-control theory of crime suggests that individuals who were ineffectually parented before the age of ten develop less self-control than individuals of approximately the same age who were raised with better parenting.[1] Research has also found that low levels of self-control are correlated with criminal and impulsive conduct.
