Internal measure of a triangle is 180 degrees
base angles of an isosceles triangle are =
therefore each base angle is 4x
4x+4x+x=180
9x= 180
  x=20
vertex angle= 20

Trig help please, 2 questions, 10 pts
Scrat [10]
1. 2700 degrees. 450 rotations in on minute is 450(360) degrees per minute. If you divide this by 60 you get 2700.
2. 180 degrees. 4.3 rotations per minute is 4.3 times 360 degrees per minute. Multiply that times 5, and divide the answer by 360 and you get 21.5, which means he is 180 degrees from his starting point.

Y/a −b= y/b −a, if a≠b

solve for y
Kamila [148]

Answer:

y= ab    if a≠b

Step-by-step explanation:

y/a −b= y/b −a

multiply each side by ab to clear the fractions

ab(y/a −b) = ab( y/b −a)

distribute

ab * y/a - ab*b = ab * y/b - ab *a

b*y - ab^2 = ay -a^2 b

subtract ay on each side

by -ay -ab^2 = ay-ay -a^2b

by -ay -ab^2 =-a^2b

add ab^2 to each side

by-ay -ab^2 +ab^2 = ab^2 - a^2b

by-ay = ab^2 - a^2b

factor out the y on the left, factor out an ab on the right

y (b-a) = ab(b-a)

divide by (b-a)

y (b-a) /(b-a)= ab(b-a)/(b-a)    b-a ≠0   or b≠a

y = ab
